It was another step forward for the club on Friday night with the start of the new Over 35 Team. This new team sees players old and new coming together to keep fit, enjoy a game of football and have a bit of craic. Team manager Paul Mullan was delighted with the first:
“The first session for the 35’s on Friday was a great success. While the build-up was positive, it’s not until to get there and boys turn up could I really be sure how it would go. To be honest I don’t think it could have went much better. It was fantastic to see some old faces and some new fellas there as well. Joe McStay brought a level of enthusiasm only Joe can bring and all the feedback was positive. Already boys are enquiring when the first game is!”
Training continues this Friday 19th Jan at 7.30pm Assumption Grammar School on 4g facility. It’s free for all members – £5 per week for all non-members.
